Six nights in the Scapegoat Wilderness, indescribable sights, outstanding (and plentiful) food, attentive and knowledgeable crew and guides and great fellow riders combined to make our Continental Divide pack trip more than my husband and I hoped for. Because safety was #1, our route was not as described on the website – this is, after all, a wilderness experience and outfitters do not have control over Mother Nature or the National Forest trail maintenance plan. Instead of 4 camps, we camped two nights at 3 different camps, which was ideal since we spent less time packing, unpacking, repacking and more time on day rides to an old camp, fishing lake, and even a wrangling experience. We rode somewhere between 50-65 miles depending on which (if any) side trips we rode; some people chose to stay at camp, relaxing and others tried their luck fishing the creeks. I saw one review with a concern about water, but all our water was filtered and if the water container was empty, they filled it for us or we filled it ourselves – again, this is a wilderness experience not a dude ranch; we seemed to all want to contribute by making coffee, stoking the fire, cutting firewood, putting up and taking down tents, purifying water, gathering water – or not. Don’t get me wrong: we were NOT expected to do any of the above, but it seemed like all of us wanted to do something. The horses and mules were gentle and well trained, but caution: they were not “plodders” who simply followed the horse in front of them in a specified order. They responded to riders’ directions. I know I felt comfortable with my horse, Dalton, by the end of the first day. A big shout out to Coley, Jayden, Jerry, Spring, Guy, Austin, and Jerry for the great ride and Chance, Gabe, Les, and Karen who helped with at and before the trailhead. We are already planning how we can take another trip with K Lazy 3 Outfitters.
The new owner of this business does not supply things promised on Web or in contract, do not trust a thing he says, worst experience of my life no foam mattress, no tent, and lied about how far we were ridding, didn't purify some water, had diarrhea for 2 weeks. Crew was good also the food, the new owner is the problem nice guy probably a good guide but no clue how to run the show, Kenny is dangerous to your health, please beware

I have hunted with Kenny and K Lazy 3 Outfitters for my third year now. I shot my first bull with them and now a bull of a lifetime. They are a first class outfitter that will give you the Backcountry experience of a lifetime.
Montana mountains are big. The Bob Marshall Wilderness is remote, rugged, wild and vast with incredible scenery. K Lazy 3 does an amazing job providing great comfort with their meals and sleeping tents in an amazing, breath-taking, wilderness environment. I feel safe with Kenny and his crew taking us into the backcountry.
