Came here for wedding and business, felt very uncomfortable with the aggressive dogs that were able to roam freely through out the front desk and bar area. No controlled heat in room it was cold in room, given 2 blankets and 2 space heaters. Room was dirty, floor behind door had mud foot prints. Bathroom floor and dead bugs on floor. No switch for closest light. No shower head. Was told at time of reservation that bar would be open restaurant would not and got there at bar was closed for remodeling Ask for refund and I was treated in a very rude manner when I left. Will not recommend children at this establishment due to the aggression of employee/owners dogs. Staying at diffrent hotel now I feel safe and comfortable.
I have to go with this great place, it's historic and just a neat place. Restaurant is in remodeling and they have a great little bar. It's a must see
Roy and Valerie are two wonderful people..we rode in on our bikes. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and took time to visit.. and made sure we were comfortable. The rooms were amazing . And the locals we met in the hotel were great people..so friendly.. we had good laughs.. and got to celebrate one of the locals birthday.. it was Roy and Valerie's third week of ownership.. we will be back.. Thanks again Sandi and Denis.
The new owners are some of the nicest people I have met. They may have been a little behind due to being new owners but they worked so hard and kept their spirits up. My cousin chose this location for her wedding and it is beautiful. It's extremely rustic. Our suite was two rooms and cozy.
We recently spent three days at the Hotel Lincoln and would highly recommend it. Valerie and Roy were welcoming, accommodating, great with the kids, and knowledgable, providing an abundance of interesting and helpful information about the hotel and the area. The historic hotel was authentic but comfortable, a winning combination.
